Want an easy (and affordable) way to freshen up your outfit? Try a scarf. We have tons of them, great colors, great styles. And we're here to help you on ways to wear them.
Take a simple pashmina and wrap it twice, leaving the center loose for the look on the left... or wrap it twice a bit tighter and tie in a knot for the great look on the right.
for this thick/warm look (very popular in Europe) take your pashmina style scarf and fold in half, wrap around neck and pull long part through loop. Very stylish and looks great under blazers/jackets.
Both of these styles allow for a little extra warmth. Once the pashmina is tied it frees up your arms for hugs, handshakes... or maybe to hold your champagne glass. The tie in the back allows for warmth on your shoulders without covering the front of your dress.
This particular scarf is a hand dyed silk scarf (dyed by our local artist Heather Harris-Brady). It's a simple silk scarf, that has incredible versatility. The first photo shows a simple knot tied in the front (could be tied in the back as well, would work great with short hair or with an updo). The second way works really well as a splash of color on an otherwise drab outfit. Just fold in half, wrap and tie.
This is the same beautiful Heather Harris-Brady scarf, worn as a headband first and a hair tie second. Both styles could also be double wrapped for a thicker tie. AND the best part about this terrific scarf... it retails for only $15. We have multiple colors in the store and can take special orders. What a great gift this holiday season!
same double wrap with a knot but a thinner scarf
one simple knot with one tail in the front and one in the back
These long skinny scarves can be a lot of fun to add a little flair/color to an outfit. Keep in mind they work great as headbands and BELTS!
